    June in Gunnison

    June means that summer is in full swing. We can’t wait to take our bikes to the Hartman Rocks, sit outside our favorite restaurants on Main Street, and get lost in wildflowers as we discover new trails.

    The Family Throw Down – June 4th. Family-oriented clay wheel throwing and hand-building.

    “Embodiment” by Paige Stewart – June 4th. The opening day of this unique sculpture exhibit.

    Fridays @ 5: Marimba Mu Gomo – June 4th. Listen to “Marimba in the Mountains” music by an eight-member troupe.

    PHRESH – June 4th. Live music performance by this Phish cover band at I Bar Ranch.

    Marimba Workshop – June 5th. Gather to learn about and play the uplifting music of Zimbabwe.

    “A Sense of Place” – Travel Sketch Journaling – June 5th and 6th. Learn to capture the charm of historic towns in this sketching class.

    SonofaGunn 2021 Presents: “Molly Get Your Gunn” – June 10th, 11th, and 12th. Live comedic adaptation at the I Bar Ranch raising money for the Gunnison Arts Center.

    Gunnison Farmer’s Market – June 12th, 19th, and 26th. Purchase fresh produce from local vendors.

    Sundays @ 6: Lizzy Plotkin & Natalie Spears – June 13th. Enjoy this free community concert in Legion Park.

    Tie-Dye & Tequila – June 17th. Sip on tequila while tie-dying shirts.

    Sundays @ 6: Len Trujilo –  June 20th. Enjoy this free community concert in Legion Park.

    Crackpots, Crack Shots, & A Cannibal – June 24th, 25th, and 26th. Live theatrical performance at I Bar Ranch.

    Sundays @6: Kokanee Hop – June 27th: Enjoy this free community concert in Legion Park.

    Functional Pottery – June 29th. Experiment with clay and take home a ceramic piece with a focus on mugs.

    Market Conditions

    New listings are down 22% and under contracts are down 13%. We currently have $26M under contract. Months supply of inventory is 1.4 (if no new listings come on the market, in 1.4 months, inventory would be at zero). Inventory is very low. It’s a hard market for Buyers, yet with some patience, you can find a great home. For those thinking about selling, now is the time.
